I had option to choose between writing a "Thorough professional" LDAP mail which would read as "Thanks, All the Best, Keep in touch" or writing a "दिल से" mail. And I am going with "दिल से" way, why be professional in family… extended family…
Let me start from the start,
BE project with Aarati, coming to PG4 four years back, BE project demo to Siddhesh in Lily, I still remember who was seated where in that demo, the picture is printed on mind… Old BC team, Saurabh, Babita, Aarati, Meenakshi, Aarati…
Selection process, interview in Disc room 2 with Snehal, all those by hearted answers on .NET Remoting, then she asked me write SQL query, and I gave innocent answer, I don't know, my friend writes it for me!!
Another interview with Mayur, Marigold. One question where he stumped me… "which is the most difficult program you wrote till now?" I replied… "threaded binary tree".. then came the bouncer, "Write it now!!!" My god, I was gone… I was writing code for next 15 minutes....
And somehow they selected me but HR forgot to send offer letter, so I joined without offer letter… an eventful first day..
Then I was back again on PG 4, part of brand MTP!!!
The ELTP gang, Alphabetically J Akshata, Amol, Avani, Bhakti, Chhaya, Deepak, Shruti, Dhok, Viraj… Unfortunately most of them are not in PSL, but you all gave me great time together…
WF SIE, with Harsha, Nikhil, Girsish, Pooja and Namita… perfect grooming for a fresher..!!
BC, project which I am going to cherish lifelong… all the fire-fighting.. those moves to QA, UA; merging 1000-2000 files in one go; calling each other across 10 cubicles and other people complaining about noise J; Bhupesh complaining about white space, extra tabs; with all that rush hour situation, we got a team that stood united and I would want to say we gave it a tough fight…
Then comes BD, I was late entrant in project; the build saga; Octroi and some more Octroi… !! plug-ins, those file movements.. J Great team, each one with his/her own specialty, I would be missing all that..
So what all I am carrying with me, I would copy a movie's dialog…
Kaho naa Pyaar hai, the other - second Hrithik from New Zealand, travelling to India is saying Good Bye to Amisha….
"ये मैंने तुम्हारी कुछ तस्वीरें खिची थी,ये तुम रख लो,में यादें ले जा रहा हु "….
I never want to have all goody-goody things, as I always like to say, it's not true or false, it's not black and white; it's grey; so there were some grudges and crush… but that's life… and its beauty of it…..
There are so many things I am leaving unsaid here, otherwise the mail would be of 100 pages, and you would require index for it!!!
But the missing part will be published in My Memoirs sooner or later!!
